A new level of performance out of the crate. (Score: +1)

Rider
5'11" / 180 / Intermediate

Power:

Mild on bottom, excellent mid with lots of over rev. Power feels very electric. Almost feels slow till you ride with someone. Absolutely NO wheelspin with reduced roost out of corners, compared to other bikes, thanks to the EFI mapping keeping torque in check until bike speed catches up to wheel speed.

These bikes have optional programmer to tune fuel/air maps for the EFI. 7 maps to choose from dependent on rider requirements. My bike came in lowest setting. Changed to motocross map, couldn't be more pleased.

Ergonomics:

Pros- Very slim mid section. All controls require very little effort. General layout excellent. Very easy to ride at fast pace for extended periods.

Minus- Throttle on these EFI bikes is borderline too easy, almost no resistance felt twisting grip sometimes.

Suspension, Front:

Best OEM suspension I've ever ridden once broken-in and comp/rebound adjusted to your style.

Remarkably good straight out of the crate.

Suspension, Rear:

Set rear sag between 106-109mm and your set. 114mm is standard.

Rear suspension is an excellent match to the front.

Handling:

Tracks well through rough stuff at speed.

Absolutely no tendency to push front in turns.

Change line mid turn effortlessly if needed.

Brakes:

Best brakes I've used on a dirtbike.

Excellent feel/feedback.

Comments:

Most user friendly dirtbike I've ever owned.

Effortless to tune and wrench on.

If your thinking about taking a new bike plunge, take a good look at 1 of these machines.
