Track/Trail Feedback
Tracks are extremely hard packed but are still an absolute blast.
Least Favorite
Dusty and hard packed. Dirt gets so hard packed that it starts to blacken up from tire marks and when dry you can't see if fourwheelers are anywhere around. Younger staff members tend to be a little snotty.
Most Favorite
Wide selection. Trails, tracks, dragstrip, mudpit, freestyle and hill climbs. This place has it all. Camp for an entire weekend and never get bored!
Extras
Very clean everywhere. Staff and riders do a good job of keeping the place clean.

Track/Trail Feedback
Trails need maintenance. 4 wheelers have pushed off all sand leaving slick red clay on major trails. New cut trails were much better. Much better when dry.
Least Favorite
The lack of trail rotation and maintenance.
Most Favorite
The people are great, food ok, shops pretty good.
Extras
All facilities were clean and trash free.

Track/Trail Feedback
My buddy and I took our Outty's up here for the day. We enjoyed the mud hole a great deal and found the trails to be well maintained. The one-way trails made it much faster as well.
Least Favorite
Really I wouldn't go here for more than one day, we found ourselves overlapping trails often. We left around 4 because we got bored.
Most Favorite
The mud-pit was nice. Great time to try out my ITP mud-lite tires.
Extras
The powerwashing was an incredibly good deal. I think I spent like $5 and I completely washed all the mud off my ATV.

Track/Trail Feedback
Most of the tracks were in very good condition. A few of them were a bit dusty, since it hasn't rained in a while.
Same with the trails, overall in very good condition with a few of them a bit dusty.
Least Favorite
Nothing really, although the trails are not as good as HP (not as many hills).
Most Favorite
I liked the tracks the best. Often times, we were the only ones on the track. This allowed me to work on my jumps and turns without having to worry about other riders.
I also love the one-way trail system, makes it much safer and funner.
Extras
I sweat so much that I didn't need to use the bathrooms, but the parking/spectating areas were very clean.

the night before i went it rained all night,
so when i got there it was a little wet not as wet as you would think i was suprised.the tracks got really dry in bout a hour and the tracks were perfect.good dirt, good take offs on jumps, good turns, it was great.
Least Favorite
nothing
Most Favorite
that even though i have a honda crf100f which is the only 100 honda makes it is like a mix between trail bike and race bike and i liked that on the national track there was only 3 jumps i couldnt clear and the supercross there was bout 6.so i like that they make it to where people with smaller bikes can still clear really big jumps cause they give you space to get the speed to clear the jumps.
Extras
bathrooms clean, parking free of trash and everything.

A lot to do drag strip, 100 miles of trails, 7 different MX tracks and much more... enough to keep you busy all day if you can stand a summer heat.

tracks were okay, trails were pretty good, drag strip was awesome, and even better after it was watered and it was slick (burnout central on my RM 85, and it's stock)the flat track was cool too, the youth track (next to parking lot)lot of kickers
Least Favorite
kind of dusty, and kinda crowded, youth track had a lot of kicker jumps, sending me into the classic flying W.
Most Favorite
good staff supervision, the would go ride the trails, to make sure no was hurt on the trails. I was able to save the flying W, I pulled off at the exit, and one of the staff members checked on me and made sure I was alright

The trails were all (or mostly all) open and in good shape. Not much dust and not much mud either. I don't use the tracks.
Least Favorite
Hard packed dirt on the trails - but what can you do, this is Georgia.
Most Favorite
The Durhamtown staff took good care of my son after he took a spill on one of the tracks. Several staff members appeared out of nowhere just moments after the crash, gave him the full possible-spinal injury treatment and had an ambulance there much sooner than I expected. This was the right thing to do because my son took a hard fall and apparently landed on his head. Fortunately, he suffered only very minor injuries – just a little bruising and soreness. I was very impressed with the immediate and professional care given by the many staff members who helped at the scene. A staff member even helped me load up the bikes so I could follow the ambulance to the hospital.
Extras
Good facilities - clean parking area & bathrooms. The prices for parts (I needed some spark plugs) were very reasonable.

I liked the variety. My group rode the trails a while, the track a while, the hill climb a while, then sat in the parking lot and laughed for a while!
Extras
Bathrooms and all extras were great. I rented a Honda crf 250 and it was in great shape. I have bought one since.

Small children on main track. they stop at the end of a jump...line up across the trail. Hard to turn in mid-air jump to avoid them. I ride both dirtbike & ATV,dirtbikers have attitude when I ride ATV.

trails were great, and there were many different levels of trails - from beginner to advanced. last time I went was in spring 03 and it was very muddy (it had been raining) but 4/2 it was very dry and nice. not too dusty on the trails. well maint and fun trails.
Least Favorite
some of the staff outside can be kind of rude, but they have to keep an iron fist to make sure everyone is safe.
Most Favorite
rentals - they had new bikes, and the older ones were in good condition. lots of parking areas. nice trails and track. good for all age levels.
Extras
nice lodge, gotta nicely-stocked shop, got all the goodies at 20% off retail (i don't know for sure, but on the site it says that). clean

Very Nice Beginner TrackPosted 08/08/2005

Track/Trail Feedback
Well maintaned, but dusty on dry days. If fourwheelers get on the track, forget it. But the jumps are very tame and short, lots of table tops and smallish doubles, if you call them that, I would recommend this track to anyone who wants to build some confidence without having to commit on big jumps. If you want to have a relaxed day of cruising around a track and getting moderate air this is the one for you. It is not a very demanding track and so you can ride it all day long without getting very winded. All in all, a very fun place to ride.

Least Favorite
Cost. Pretty high at $25 a person per day. Especially if you dont ride trails.
Most Favorite
There Pee Wee track looks top notch, if my boys were old enough to ride and I had the extra dough to take them, I would gladly take them there to ride.
Extras
Very nice facilities, food is good, parts are fair priced, layout is as good as can be expected for what it is.

AMAZING, except for the lip of the three table tops when you come out of the woods, and the small downhill double at the begining of the track.
Least Favorite
The lips on some of the jumps, and the wide sweeping turns. They should make a little bigger jumps on the main Mx TRACK.
Most Favorite
The track in the woods where it is uncrowded.

Big Changes to MX TrackPosted 01/06/2005

Track/Trail Feedback
Track was much improved. Several larger jumps, including a high speed table that launches you a long distance. Much more challenging overall, less dust, less traffic since it is spread out more.
Least Favorite
Too many small rocks/gravel on the back section, turns back there need to be disked, so they are not rough hardpack, 2 or 3 jumps could be tweaked so you don't overjump them so badly.
Most Favorite
The jumps were well shaped, plenty of air time, the irrigation up front is nice, the longer layout really thins out traffic and makes it safer. It is now a real MX track, worth going there to MX even if you don't ride the trails.
Extras
They have numerous amenities, see website.
