The trail was dry this time around (it's impossible when wet) so if you are on an atv, you shouldn't have any problems, even if it is 2 wheel drive. There are a few areas that become extremely rocky and impossible for bikes, so bikes be careful! There are two extremely difficult trails, that are just that, extremely difficult.

It seemed a little short, but, if done right can consume a whole day of riding! It's the trail I did my first ride on 6 months ago and it seems to have done well.

This is a good trail that first timers could get their tires wet on. It's got areas that are hard that you can start trying and it's got more trail type areas as well. The camping is very nice and the bathrooms are clean. There are two parking lots, but, make sure the trailer driver can maneuver a trailer, because when full you will be out of luck.

Most of the trail was in good condition, but several sections were extremely difficult (if not impossible).

The worst part was the size and number of loose rocks/sand on some of the very steep hills.

I loved the loop section of the trail. It had some very fast sections with some nice jumps, and it had some challenging uphills and downhills (but not impossible).

Didn't use the bathrooms. The north parking lot is decent, but it has a long gravel drive to get to it.

Loose baseball sized rocks down 40 degree decent that blew my arms out

Challenging because of the elevation changes and terrain, i.e. dry, mud, shale, rocks, and the trees that jump at you; or maybe just me

Parking is tight but no one is usually there and bathrooms are clean.

I loved this trail! The main trail from the north parking lot was fun with lots of hills, just right to get a little air. When you went past where the trails connect there were larger and steeper hills with some loose rock, just right for a fun challenge for a mid or a little more advanced rider. Some of the curves were tight with blind spots so be careful of a 4 wheeler coming the other way. There is an additional connection between the two trails that didn’t appear on any of the trail maps I had. The trail from the south parking lot for about a mile is horrendous. There are very steep stair step like rock formations that have a lot of sand and are slick. It's like riding up hill on ice. I didn't get up several of them. You need to get some momentum because traction disappears on these rocks. stay away from them if you're not a well experienced rider. Everyone else I met there didn't even attempt them. The North Ga scenery was great. The fall leaves just started to change when I was there.

The trail isn't a very long trail, but you can ride back and forth all day long without becoming bored with the trail.

The trails provided just the right level of challenge for me, an experienced older rider at 54, to make it fun without giving me a heart attack and for my 15 year old son who is still learning.

There is a new campground only 100 yards from the trail parking. Cost was $8.00 a night. It included a picnic table, a fire ring and a lantern post. There was water available and a surprisingly clean outhouse. There are only 8 campsites here. The parking area has a loading ramp.

The track conditions were very good except one hill(it had loose rock on it). I'm not talking just a few small round rocks I'm talking a TON OF ROCK on this very long and steep hill.We have tried davenport Mt. and Oakey Mt. in the past three weeks and both pale in comparrison to Whissenhunt.
