Back to back rounds of MotoGP in the US started this weekend at Laguna Seca. Spies qualified 6th and Nicky Haden 7th. Should be a really good race. It will be on speed at 5pm. There has been some really good racing in the series this year with some great battles at the front. Qualifying yesterday was exciting to watch and the track should produce some really good racing this afternoon.

I've raced Laguna a few times, and once got to race there when the World Superbike race was at Laguna. I was in one of the support classes, but a lot of the "big boys" were running some of the support classes for practice time. Riding with some of the very top riders in the world made me feel slow and uncoordinated. Maybe "inadequate" is a better word.

I hope Ben and/or Nicky will bring home the bacon and get on the podium for the home crowd!!

As the announcer pointed out, "That guy (Rossi) is not from this planet"

It was some good racing! Don't want to spoil it anymore . . . .
